Fearless leader, humble yet bold. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and is ready to drive the transformation of the food system in Mexico and the world. Li Lu completed a research stay at Guelph University and gained international experience in South Korea and Germany.

Renowned researcher in the Latin American meat industry, Dr. Rubio holds a degree in Veterinary Science from the Universidad de Córdoba and a Doctorate in Meat Science from Texas A&M University. She currently serves as a professor at UNAM and has completed a research stay at the University of Maastricht in Dr. Mark Post’s lab.

He completed post-doctoral studies at the Institute of Technology, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, and at Harvard-MIT.

Alejandro is the Managing Partner at Saya Bio, a multi-stage investment firm specializing in biotechnology and healthcare innovation. He also co-founded and serves as President of Elysian Bio, a company dedicated to expanding biologic drug access in Latin America. Additionally, he is on the board of Centerpiece, a medical device CMO based in San Diego, CA. Before these roles, Alejandro worked as an investment associate at SVLC in San Francisco. He earned his BSc from the University of Edinburgh and his D.Phil in Cellular & Molecular Medicine from the University of Oxford.
