Passionate tissue engineer and bioprinting expert. Dra. Trujillo is an active member of the International Association of Biofabrication, earned her Doctorate degree in Biotechnology from Tecnológico de Monterrey and pursued post-doctoral studies at Harvard-MIT.
Renowned researcher in the Latin American meat industry, Dr. Rubio holds a degree in Veterinary Science from the Universidad de Córdoba and a Doctorate in Meat Science from Texas A&M University. She currently serves as a professor at UNAM and has completed a research stay at the University of Maastricht in Dr. Mark Post’s lab.
Experienced engineer specialized in bioprocesses and process scaling, he is a permanent member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences and holds a Doctorate degree from the University of Rutgers. He completed post-doctoral studies at the Institute of Technology, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, and at Harvard-MIT.
Alejandro is the Managing Partner at Saya Bio, a multi-stage investment firm specializing in biotechnology and healthcare innovation. He also co-founded and serves as President of Elysian Bio, a company dedicated to expanding biologic drug access in Latin America. Additionally, he is on the board of Centerpiece, a medical device CMO based in San Diego, CA. Before these roles, Alejandro worked as an investment associate at SVLC in San Francisco. He earned his BSc from the University of Edinburgh and his D.Phil in Cellular & Molecular Medicine from the University of Oxford.
Gome serves as President of Grupo Tracsa, a leading industrial distribution company with 4,300 employees across five countries, and as Managing Partner of Saya Bio. He holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and has completed coursework in life sciences on the MITx and HMX platforms.
